Hello Everyone!
As my lovely blogettes so fantastically mentioned below, I'm back! (aren't they fabulous?!) it was a long week with some exciting happenings and some other not so exciting happenings and I return with my opinion on NYC for the most part unchanged. I took as much of everyone's advice as I was able, I opened my heart to New York a little bit more, but I'm still mostly ambivalent. I like the city a lot, just don't love it.. still!
But I did have some amazing adventures (I'm fully in love with Coney Island – it's my NYC exception) which I plan on sharing soon so stay tuned. Aaaaand next week we begin our much anticipated 'Get Summer Ready!' series which I'm extremely excited for.
So we've got a fun filled summer ahead! But my lovely readers I need some completely frivolous advice….
I want bangs… well I think I want bangs… (I also want to be French like the gorgeous ladies pictured above…but this is easier) I had bangs once before. I was a skinny 19 year old minx, I dyed my hair jet black and depending on my mood was compared to Karen O and Nadia from American Pie. It was awesome.
My fears now are, I'm a little heavier…(and framing my face with bangs may lead to fattening my face) I'm not the biggest fan of manipulating my very wavy hair till it's poker straight (and at this point I don't know if I'll have to) and if I hate it… growing out bangs is a pain in the backside.
So what do you think dear reader? I've fashioned a neat little poll to ask you what you think (what you really think – as in there's an option to tell me to get a life… ha!) so please! Tell me what you think. The haircut is Wednesday!
Edit: Apparently the poll wasn't working for everyone so I found a new widget…this one's much schmanzier anyways ; )

Don’t worry about “fattening the face” – just make sure the bangs are not cut too wide (just have them gather only the hair from in between the temples), and as far as curly hair goes, curly or wavy hair is generally a very difficult thing for bangs. however, even if you’re in a rush, they say when blow drying hair, to ALWAYS blow-dry & style the bangs first, then the rest of the hair. so even if you leave the rest of the hair wet, you can just blow the bangs out smoothly and be fine!

Do it! I got bangs 3 months ago. Just got back from stylist for 3rd cut w/bangs — and I’m keeping them for awhile. I love them. They make me feel sassy!
