This news has been a long time coming and I'm both devastated and extremely disappointed to have to share it with you.
As many of you know I have spent the better part of the last year working towards a project that excited me and many others in the Los Angeles fashion industry.
Fashion Los Angeles and Michael Venedicto promised a great deal to the City of Los Angeles and appeared set to change the industry in Los Angeles. It was exciting, and myself and many others were caught up in the maelstrom of change.
Unfortunately I can no longer believe in the project, to the point where I find myself needing to publicly retract any support and statements I have made about the organization.
I consider myself a great judge of character, and went, against my better judgement, to work tirelessly for a company for little to no reward or compensation. There's has been a lot of untruths spoken along the line, and the company has caused a lot of upset. It was a project we all wanted to believe in, so we put our cynicism aside and put blind faith in a man who posed as a leader of fashion in Los Angeles. He spoke words that we wanted to hear and we believed them because we wanted to.
I can no longer stand by the company, and a man who I believe has done more damage to the fashion industry in Los Angeles, and other's reputations, than good.
I don't want to prolong this with any "he said, she said" cattiness. I have remained professional throughout and intend to continue my professionalism in my own work in Los Angeles fashion through Two Point Oh! LA and other projects on the horizon. I am happy to answer any questions as candidly as possible, please feel free to direct them to Kelsi@StylesmithOnline.com or Kelsi@TwoPointOhLA.com.
Thank you for all each of you have done for Fashion Los Angeles, I look forward to working with you in the future.

That’s a heartbreaking story, but as with every situation, I am sure there’s a lesson in this.
By the way, I didn’t realize how close you lived to me until I received the bronzer I won (thank you, by the way) and saw that you’re in Glendale. I’m seriously considering joining Two Point Oh; it looks like so much fun.
