I always enjoy the shows at the Focus Tradeshow at the California Market Center – it's fun and informal and there's always a great vibe in the atmosphere. Friday October 15th saw the Contemporary Runway presentation featuring tenants of the California Market Center.
The show was kicked off with Mavi Jeans – I loved this Seventies denim on denim look featured above – the Texas Tuxedo is alive and well…!
Voom by Joy Han presented a bevy of colour – this dress was even brighter in person – such a great summer print and would look fabulous with a chunky leather belt.
I've been following label, XCVI, for a few seasons now – and time after time they produce contemporary casual collections that are beyond desirable, what I love most about their collections is whilst the clothes they present are classic in their conception, he aesthetic, thanks to it's quirks and interesting detailing, is very modern.
The wide leg linen pants (a summer must have) and this fabulous linen blazer are absolutely on my summer wish list. Look at the cut on that jacket!
Soraya by Rozi presented some gorgeous dresses, perfect for Summer parties. The purple mini was a show stopper, but the white and flouncy dress was by far my favourite, I loved it's bounce and flounce – stunning!
I have a lot more Fashion Week coverage on it's way, which I have every intention of completing this week…so stay tuned!!

How ever do you get invited to one of these things? I would love to go. And I like your choices by the way. That white dress looks great in the photo but I imagine that it must be even more fun in real life.

Hi Heather!
The best way is to reach out to the designer or the PR rep of the company – for the CMC events contact Audrey Okulick at the CMC!
Good luck!
