Whilst rushing around on my last day in Las Vegas, Bree Cooley of Stylist Diva, and I ran over to The Venetian to catch the going's on at the Capsule show. Only to find we wished we'd given the show a WHOLE day. One of my favourites on the scene was The Haus of Price.
Perhaps it was because I was in Vegas, or perhaps I really am just that kind of girl (I played with Barbies up until aged 14 when I discovered boys were more fun – take that how you will) but I am 100% enamored with these Haus of Price shoes and have been lusting after them ever since our eyes met across a vaguely crowded room.
What's more is, James Price, the designer, is the most enigmatic, teddy bear of a guy, that all you want to do is throw your arms around him and squeeze, so I did, at least once. He also deconstructs and reconstructs vintage garments into modern lust-after-bles, including fantastic colourful cropped shirts, which James was so kind as to gift me there and then (photo coming soon!)
Amazeballs (an entirely appropriate word, which by the way I utterly stake a claim in bringing it to the US – I heard it there and used it long before the illustrious Perez did so ner neer ner…!)
All together a fabulous find…and really those shoes will be mine, I think it's going to have to happen!
