I am well aware that this post is more than a touch, let’s say, indulgent? But these are some super pretty trainers*. And they matched the decor in the new Stylesmith HQ rooftop garden so perfectly so I started getting creative…
Whilst I was in London I was approached by JD Sports (one of the top sports apparel stores in the UK) who offered to send me a pair of trainers of my choice from their plentiful selection. “Alas”, I responded, “I am just visiting, I don’t live here anymore, I live in the US”. “AHA” they exclaimed “we now ship to the US!”. Well yay, JD Sports, because I haven’t seen these beauties stateside AT ALL.
Since I’ve been wearing Converse since I can walk – the whole wearing a pretty dress with Chucks thing is basically my uniform, so more recently I’ve been changing it up. I started with a pair of Nike Air Max Vintage and now these babes. Bronze leather, holographic trims and glittery laces. They’re really quite special non?
Magic trainers. Unicorn trainers. No really.

*Trainers. This is what we call sneakers/running shoes/athletic shoes/gym shoes/tennis shoes or whatever you guys are calling them nowadays. I’ve never quite managed to settle on one since moving here, and apparently neither can you. So I’m sticking with trainers.
