It's
that time of year again, when despite the sweltering heat of the summer
(for most of us) we start reviewing the Fall Collections and looking
for inspiration for the new season. Pantone, as always, released a
wonderful array of fashion colours for the coming season, and as we have
done previous seasons, here at Dedicated we'll be talking you through
them, one by one, week by week on the run up to fall.
To
kick start the series we've taken a look at Oyster Gray, an unusual
neutral, awash with fall simplicity. A blend between gray and beige, it
was actually very hard to match, a lot of the grays currently available
have a much cooler tone, whereas Oyster Gray has a warm quality. The actual colour (taken from a Pantone swatch) is in the title, the grays featured in the collage just give you an idea of how to work gray into your wardrobe palette, but do look for this specific shade come fall. It's warmth makes it suitable for most skintones and it works as a great neutral base. Mix it with pops of colour like bright red, coral and army green or layer it up with other shades of gray for a chic and sleek look.
