I felt a little like Alice in Wonderland frolicking around my front yard in this outfit this morning!
I didn't have to start work until later today so I decided to take the time to dye my hair red and show off my Melissa shoes!
So first up the hair dye… I used Natural Instincts non-permanent dye in 'cinnaberry', it was a lot more subtle than what I was hoping for, but is a pretty colour nonetheless. It's probably for the best, too bright may have just washed me out!
Here's a better view (I'm wearing a sequin bow headband from the new Stylesmith collection too! Coming soon at $14 each!)
What do you think? I never really know what to do with my hair.. I keep it long and don't do much to it because of the whole 'I'm an actress thing' but I do long for changes every now and then.. so I just variate between about 3-4 shade of brown!
Then the shoes… oh the shoes…only last Sunday a magic tweet showed up in my timeline from D-LuxeList… I had won a pair of Melissa shoes… the same shoes I'd been lusting after ever since I first saw them. Considering the self imposed shopping budget I'm currently on it was a fabulous surprise and a wonderful present.
Made of plastic, Melissa shoes use environmentally friendly manufacturing processes, making the shoes not only vegan but eco friendly – whoop whoop! (seriously check out their profile on the website they have fascinating story) And I have to say…they're incredibly comfortable, I just did not expect that! This particular design is a collab with Vivienne Westwood.. and honestly, aren't they just completely divine!?
So thanks D-LuxeList & Melissa – you're awesome, and I'm a happy bunny!
