Saturday night I had the privilege of joining some lovely local bloggers and the visiting Wendy Brandes and Mr B. for dinner at Malo in Silverlake. It was a fun evening catching up with friends and making new ones whilst eating some fantastic Mexican food.

Wendy gave us all a Cinderella moment by lending us some of her Cleopatra Earrings in silver – as seen on Kim Cattrall in Sex and the City – for the evening. Unfortunately I discovered that my 'one earring' phase has left me with only one piercing – so I rocked the Cleopatra's one earring styley!

A ton of fun was had by all, and it was so lovely to meet Wendy and Mr B at long last after a many a twitter chat. Meeting bloggers is always so much fun. It's always good to spend time with people who take what you do seriously, blogging is still such a niche but you know these people understand what goes into making a blog and there's a lot of mutual respect.

You absolutely rocked that one earring! I meant to tell you how much I loved your shoes, but in all of the excitement and margaritas I probably didn’t. Anyhow, love the shoes. It was really nice to meet you!

Also, I went through a 1 earring phase in undergrad. Oddly, it’s been something I’ve wanted to rekindle, at least in my play moments….

Thanks guys – they’re not shoes – well they are – but the shoes are pretty basic sandals – the bit that makes them amazing are the Dekkori spats!!
