Friday night saw the first official L.A city sanctioned Fashion's Night Out. Whilst I have many tales to tell you about my fabulous night out, which of course included hosting Bloggers' Cafè at The Grove's Fashion's Night Out, I thought I'd begin my series of posts with what I wore!

With no time to shop and tired of shopping my own closet I took a risk and rented a dress from Rent the Runway, I'll share the entire experience next week, but what I will say is I have fallen in love with Tibi.This dress was everything and more than I could have ever expected. Tibi's use of colour, and fabric is so vibrant, fun, unusual and yet so very elegant. I'm so sad to be playing Cinderella and popping this back in the envelope today. This will not be the last time I wear Tibi, I guarantee it.

As for my jewels…when Tarina Tarantino calls, you don't say no. Tarina Tarantino's store is a wonderland of shiny baubles, and a magpie like myself could spend hours pawing over the collections. Fortunately for the staff I didn't have a lot of time, and knowing how "busy" my dress was, I opted for the Crystal Clear collection which worked out perfectly with my dress. A big thank you to Tarina Tarantino for lending me my baubles for the night, they amped up my outfit perfectly. Later on today I'll share with you the three other lucky ladies who got to share in my Tarina-Ella moment.

Lastly, my shoes were a huge dilemma, until at the very last minute my Kandee Shoes arrived from England (I won them in Mademoiselle Robot's twitter contest – thanks Laetitia!) and matched perfectly. The Refresher Wedge is a huge platform sandal in the softest suede and the most vibrant colours, I did have to switch to flats eventually but still managed 5 hours in them first! They even became a talking point backstage between myself, Michael Venedicto and Perez Hilton, backstage at the Beverly Center's Opening Ceremony, as we discussed Fashion Los Angeles being the new platform for L.A fashion, he pointed to my shoes and said "now THAT'S a platform!"

I may have to explore my sugar addiction a bit more in the future, I have my eye on a studded pair of Kandee Shoes featured on their twitter!

So that was my outfit for the night, thanks to everyone involved in making it come together!
