It's been a little cooler round these parts lately – giving me a chance to get all autumnal in my clothing selections. Of course cooler is relative and the idea of not wearing this outfit with tights and a sweater in November and calling "autumnal style" would be laughable where I'm from, but this is L.A and for L.A this is layers baby.
I picked up this dress (a bargain) at the Rose Bowl Flea Market a few weeks back, I hadn't been in years and it was so fun, I forgot how much so, I've already made a date with my friend Sinclaire to return next month (as well as revisit Pie n Burger an amazing "vintage" restaurant where we ran into Drew Barrymore, and ate a burger and a slice of pie, naturally).
I paired it with my yellow suede oxfords (Primark) and this amazing Gypsy Junkies crushed velvet coat, which I'm obsessed with (a gift from the lovely folks at Gypsy Junkies), I got a silly amount of compliments whilst wearing it too. Overall I love the whole "the 90's does the 40's" feel of this whole look, very Gwen Stefani circa her "Don't Speak" period…
