The Kari Feinstein Style Lounges are becoming the highlight of my job, and for Emmy Awards edition I was privileged to attend with my little sister in tow. The day is extremely glamourous, based out of the Montage in Beverly Hills, mingling with celebrities, chayttying with brand representatives and taking home wonderful presents and this visit was no exception.
Josie and I's favourite stop was with Dr Loretta and her her effervescent publicist Suzanne Summers (no relation) Dr Loretta produces an amazing skincare line and was on hand to provide both Josie and I with a personalized skin care regimen. Notes were made and a week ago a box arrived complete with a full line of products handpicked for both of us. I'm currently in the process of using them, and in a few weeks I shall absolutely give you guys a full review. At this point my favourite products are the Rejuvenating Sunscreen and the Purifying Peel Pads – absolutely fantastic. Dr Loretta is available for purchase here.
We were also gifted some beautiful jewelry, pictured above, both Josie and I are wearing our gorgeous lariat necklaces from Saint Vintage Designs, known as Love Strands, each piece is a one of a kind and as a cancer survivor, the designer Paige Jansen-Nichols donates a portion of her sales to Cancer Research. They are available for purchase here.
Our other favourite jewelry designer was Adesso (pictures coming to a Pavement Princess near you soon!) gorgeous charm bracelets made from a collection of vintage beads, antique silver, semi precious and precious stones and charms, and most interesting to me, as a collector, Mali Wedding beads and African trade beads, I love the colour and rustic nature of them – and the story's each one could tell.
We also made fruitful and practical stops at Caboodles where we each picked up a fantastic make-up case (which thanks to all the events I've been running to and from constantly has already got it's fair share of use!) and Turbie Towels, fabulous little ultra absorbent hair towels which I have used everytime I have washed my hair since – love!
We were also treated to gift certificates at both the Montage Spa (where Josie and I spent a wonderful day receiving a massage and hanging out at their magnificent pool – see pics here) and gift certificates for the most amazing pedicures and manicures at Recess Spa. Yep we had a complete spa day thanks to the Kari Feinstein lounge.
Other stops of note (where we're awaiting arrival of our gifts – so I'll share more then) was V-Moda for their fantastic industry quality headphones (something Josie will talk more about upon their arrival – as she's a professional musician) and Christina Price handbags for her sporty and practical line of beautiful handbags.
As always amazing thanks to Tracy at Feinstein/McGuinness for inviting us and hosting such a fabulous event.
