Friday at Los Angeles Fashion Week and there was a lot of running around…and therefore a lot of posts to come! Including a brief foray into Designers & Agents, an amazing panel and exhibition at the CMC and a night at BoxEight, and that was just Friday! I plan on writing about each of these events at length tomorrow and Tuesday but didn't want to leave you hanging with nothing to read (or peruse!)
My outfit… so fearing I would look like a gondoliar (I was insistant on wearing my Forever 21 hat!) I skipped my plans to wear my tapered pants and vintage stripey tee and opted for this silk George Wu dress, vintage belt and spangly oxfords (also Forever 21) This outfit was not without wardrobe malfunctions…my belt broke, my hat would not stay on and my feet were still killing me from Tuesday night, but despite feeling a little like a Julie Andrews character hybrid (that would be Mary Poppins meets Maria) I still think I rocked it! Hah ha!
On a completely different note, I had a little feedback from the lovely Macala from Fashionably Marketing (amongst other projects) on the blog. She felt it was too slow to load because of my large pictures, there was me thinking it was just my slow computer. Sooo from now on expect compressed pics making it easier to load, sorry for those who had issues and thanks so much Macala!
Love,
Kelsi x
P.S This pic was snapped by the lovely Deanne of Dream Sequins who I had a blast running around with all day..more on that in the posts to come!
