Super quick outfit post for y'all – I'm sort of on a mini vacation as Mr Styles' Mom is visiting this week and we're gallivanting all across Los Angeles doing lots of touristy type shenanigans (today we went to the Huntington Gardens and to see the live auditions of X Factor – courtesy of Pepsi and Klout!)
This was snapped on Mother's Day after a lovely brunch at my DTLA favourite Tiara Café and was followed by a wonderful afternoon shopping at Unique LA (post coming soon!) Mr Style said I "looked as if I went to three different prep schools" which was effectively exactly what I was going for (he has such a way with words)
I am wearing my handmade oxfords from Golden Ponies, a long awaited skirt from American Apparel (you have no idea…I wish they didn't make such cute stuff because between their CEO and their terrible customer service, I'd much rather boycott…) paired with a J Crew blouse and Target sweater (bought on sale for $10 – I bought 3 colours – most successful purchase in a long time!) I'm also wearing a Forever 21 necklace and handmade friendship bracelet (this post).
The gorgeous bag was a gift from dear friend and renowned designer Charlie Lapson whom I met working the Grammy Style project. I love the super girly colours and print they keep it unusual and modern whilst the shape is classic with vintage airs and graces. I love it.
Ok…that wasn't really super quick was it?
See you soon ;)
