As you've just read, I spent this Sunday rolling around Los Angeles in a beautiful Mercedes-Benz as part of the Oscar Fashion Force, spotting our fabulous city's style setters. Which was a thousand times better than the way I usually spend my time spotting style setters (courtesy of MTA buses…)

It was a gloriously sunny day, a welcome break from the pouring rain, but it was still very chilly. Los Angelians knew better than to be fooled by the blue skies and shining sun, opting for layered looks, the tourists visiting from colder climates were easy spot, with belly's bare and tiny shorts, soaking up all the vitamin D they've been missing for months.

So with no furthur ado…my style setters!

Nicole – spotted in Larchmont Village wearing vintage boots and a H&M jumpsuit!

These hipster students, on Spring Break, from Ann Arbor, were all enjoying some February sunshine and LA shopping on Melrose! – LOVE that bag!

Allen, the only boy spotted of the day (on Melrose) was adorbs, I adored his vintage neckerchief just poking through with his Sunday laid back preppy look from Levi's, J Crew, St James and Toms Shoes (he also felt the need to inform me he was also wearing Jockey…!)

The lovely Kayla, spotted at Melrose Trading Post (prime style spotting venue) was wearing a mix of vintage, Urban Outfitters and those amazing Doc Marten's!

Ashley, who has an affinity for Alexander Wang (see the bag!), was also spotted at Melrose Trading Post. I totally fell for her fab cardigan from Topshop.

These stylish buddies, Ilanna, Jenny and Laura are wearing a mix of vintage, Urban Outfitters, American Apparel and Forever 21. From San Diego and Los Angeles, they're the perfect example of SoCal winter cool.

Missy, another belly baring tourist, from San Francisco, spotted at Melrose Trading Post was one of my favourites of the day. With a shared love for The Goonies and "statement lipstick" I wanted to put her in my pocket. I love that she rocked her Victoria Secret leopard print bikini top with confidence and looked great! I also appreciated that aside from the bikini top, her entire outfit came from H&M – snap!

Thanks Mercedes Benz for a wonderful experience!
