Reportage

Reportage: Danielle Nicole Preview

DNPreview11

From Left to Right: Natalie Pitt: Pursuit of Cute, Danielle Nicole herself, Erica Leigh: Sweets and Hearts, Me, Alex Behrens: Ivory Inklings

Earlier this week I was invited to attend an exclusive preview of the Danielle Nicole Fall 2011 Handbag line, I was able to bring a select few Two Point Oh! LA bloggers along with me to browse this lovely line and play with the fantastic purses.

I'm a new convert to Danielle Nicole after they sent me their adorable Johanna Mini purse just before Christmas, I've literally been using it everyday – which is crazy for someone who usually lugs around a back breaker of a purse! It's been quite liberating to leave all my usual handbag junk behind!

The line we previewed is a newer more affordable line, Danielle understands that in the current economic climate, purchasing a $600 purse is not feasible for the majority of people, but we still love our little luxuries, with that in mind, none of these purses are over $150, and yet they still feature handmade details such as tassels, woven detailing and whipstiching.

Below are some of these fabulous purses – in one of their first press debuts (they came straight from the factory into the showroom for our preview!)

This is a bona fide laptop bag!

I loved this satchel style purse, it's reminiscent of the forties but still completely modern! (I think in retrospect, this is my favourite!)

All that detailing is handmade!

All together it was a fabulous start to a day filled with fashion (more to come) I love market week!

Very cute! I so want a really great purse for this spring and I must stop buying all my purses at Target. I’d love to support a local designer too.
    Love,
    Heather
