What is more whimsical than a pom pom? I mean really?! Fun and floofy and they're the perfect accessory for this trend. Over the past year or so there's been a definitive resurgence of the pom pom, and I don't just mean for the under 12 set.

This is something everyone can pull off, it's not really a subtle trend but it's something everyone can do, single pom poms decorating your shoes (or even tiny pom poms on your socks!) are for the less brave, but for those of you who want to fully embrace the über whimsy (and really who doesn't?!) go all out with a pom pom hat or chunky pom pom necklace.

Really this whole look, and every look this past week, has been about having fun and not taking yourself too seriously which is a welcome relief to some of the more severe trends we've seen in the past season. So go forth and pomify. You will not regret it.
