Team Stylesmith Does Disneyland

If you know team Stylesmith, you know we love us some Disneyland. We joke that when you join team Stylesmith you’re more likely to get an annual pass before you get a contract. We find any excuse to head the the Happiest Place on Earth; birthday’s, completion of big projects, Thursdays… and this particular time we had plenty to celebrate, our babe-licious (and baby of the bunch) intern Theresa had just had a birthday and was about to graduate!

What made this trip extra special was the confirmation of a new Stylesmith client – you may have seen rumblings and hints over the past few months but we’re ridonk-culously excited to officially announce UNIQLO as our newest client.

We’ll be working on some super fun projects and campaigns for them over the summer on the run up to the launch of their Los Angeles area stores, so watch this space for all the exciting happenings this summer.

When the girls at UNIQLO got wind of our Disneyland passions and our trip – they sent over a bunch of their amazing Disney t-shirts for us all to wear. Naturally we were all ecstatic to oblige. How CUTE are they?

In all honesty the past couple of months have been tough, my toughest since being in business yet, running a small business is not easy, being freelance was never a piece of cake, but once I grew past that and had the livelihoods of employees to consider, the responsibility of being an employer is so much greater, especially since, even against popular advice, I am so close with each of my team members.

But we’ve all pulled through, are out on the other side and stronger and more confident in our abilities as a team than ever and ultimately, when I faced with working for a living, and not a loving, I fought like hell to prevent that.

We are so excited to work with UNIQLO and so excited for the future as Team Stylesmith – that and many more Disneyland trips :)
