Winter Wear – Capes

Capes title

Runway Highlights: (left to right) Ruffian, Valentino, Kenzo, Marc Jacobs, Erin Fetherston

It is almost winter time! With fall already upon us and clothing layers increasing with the cooler weather, outerwear will be soon be everyone's best friend once again. Whether you already have that classy pea coat or timeless wool trench, there is a variety of new winter wear just waiting to be worn.

Included in this winter's fashion forecast are capes and capelets in various colors, prints, and fabrics. Capes look pretty and elegant while also being comfortable and warm. Capelets, which are shorter and usually in thinner fabric, allow fashionistas in warmer locations to take part in this trend. And both garments give you the opportunity to look lovely and unique!
