The Two Point Oh! LA 2nd Annual Picnic and 1st Birthday Party!!

Atmosphere1

One of the reasons I have been so epically busy was due to the Two Point Oh! LA 2nd Annual Picnic and 1st Birthday Party. Running Two Point Oh! LA has truly been a labour of love over the past year – and being able to throw this fabulous picnic was the cherry on top to a wonderful year – here's to the next!!

Despite fears of Carmaggedon ending everyone's lives (or was it just their commute?) over 120 folks made it out to celebrate!

As this is a super photo heavy post – all worthy of your eyeballs – you can click through to read and view the rest!

Snacks
Our guests enjoyed sandwiches and salads (all painstakingly made by me – yes I spent a WHOLE day in my kitchen – in JULY!!), our now infamous candy bar (a new feature of the events arm of Stylesmith – featuring candy in "our colours" alongside treats from Hostess), drinks from Pepsi brands: SoBe, Diet Pepsi and Aquafina and some of the yummiest juices I have ever tasted courtesy of Zuddha Girls and their fantastic juice cleanse. Guests also snacked on Popchips and Popcorn Indiana throughout the day.

Super talented – this totebag became a portrait of Bethany!

Once guests had their fill they headed over the Glitter n Glue's 'Crafternoon' – sponsored by Sole Society – where they claimed and DIY'd their own tote bags using Sharpie Fabric markers! So many creative bloggers!!

Guests were then able to head over to our 'Gifting Tent' to fill it up with goodies from our sponsors. Guests took home a variety of gifts – necklaces from BCBGeneration, make-up from POP Beauty, Bare Escentuals and NYX Cosmetics, hair treatments from Redken, Bob Harpers new 'Smart Cleanse', polish from Essie Nails, a coupon for a pair of shoes from Sole Society, Pro Activ's fantabulous Refining Mask, earrings from Springcart and goodies from Neiman Marcus.

Cuit (who is my bestest friend for those who don't know) and I were celebrating our one year anniversary – we met at the 1st picnic! We like to do prom pictures – don't ask…

Once gifted, guests, laden with swag, bombarded the fab Usnaps photobooth, sponsored by Modelwire Network – where much silliness and blogger style posing was had – you can see all the snaps on the Modelwire Network Facebook page.

If that wasn't enough to enjoy, guests were also treated to beauty treatments from the wonderful and locally based LATHER and manicures and makeovers from the team at POP Beauty in our 'Pampering Pavilion'

An amazing time was had by all! Pictures from the day can be found in our brand spanking new Flickr page, plus guests can share their own pictures in our all new and fun Flickr Group.

So I guess I better start working on how to make the next one even better eh?!

Kelsi xx

I love the washed-out look of the majority of these photos! Hipstamatic?
Next year, hire the crew of Epic Meal Time… wait. They don’t eat veggies. Just hire a crew to help you cook all of that stuff. Yes!

Thanks! The square ones are Hipstamatic – the rest are taken with my DSLR and then “played with” (which is what I call photo editing) in Photoshop!
    Yes…next year I need a food crew – lol!
