A few weeks ago Mr Style and I headed up north to the delightful city by the bay to visit with Mother Style in Law (now that doesn't work) who was visiting from Chicago. In a few weeks I will have edited all the video and pictures chronicling our trip but first I thought I'd share an outfit picture with you (there'll be three total but I don't want you to overdose on my awesomeness by posting them all at once now do I?)

This was our first night, there was a wonderful blustering cool wind, a welcome relief from the sweltering heat of Los Angeles and a welcome relief to my sartorial inclinations…I dress so much better when there's a wind chill factor..

Despite the chill we ate wonderful gelato after consuming far too much garlic at the Stinking Rose in North Beach (by far too much, I mean I ate at least a bulb and ended up very sick…) and despite the vomit it was a beautiful evening and a wonderful reunion with my first ever American port of call (oh yes San Francisco had my heart long before Los Angeles!)
