Fake Plastic Shoes

Cheapplasticshoes
My mother always taught me that my feet were precious, that well made, leather shoes were important for the health and well being of your tootsies.
And although I’d love to adhere to this sentiment and only live in expensive shoes, my bank balance tells me no. Since moving to the US I have found it increasingly harder to find inexpensive, well made, leather shoes. And well, being a shoe person, it has left me with quite the conundrum.

Feet or fashion?

Cheap shoes, I have discovered, are like Woody Allen movies, some you like, some work for you and some cut you. (ok stretched the metaphor a little too far) I bought a pair of fake suede shoes from Payless over 2 years ago that are still going strong and are probably the most comfortable high heels I own. I bought a pair of pvc flats from Ebay, and they ripped my feet apart.

So you never really know and the above shoes are completely adorable and completely affordable. And the penniless fashionista inside me is screaming “buy! buy! BUY!”

So what do you think?

1: $15 – Go Jane, 2: $35 – Plasticland, 3: $36 – Plasticland, 4: $24.99 – Go Jane, 6: $15.29 – Cutesy Girl, 7: $18.90 – Go Jane, 8: $15.40 – Go Jane, 9: $45 – Plasticland,10: $39.99 – Cutesy Girl
