Please excuse the cheesy shot and the hairties on my arm for
my first Pavement Princess! I was a wee bit nervous!
I found this dress while browsing the clearance rack at
Urban Outfitters. A seam was undone, so it was on sale for $10! I quickly
bought it and then I realized the tag said Urban Renewal. Puzzled, I came home
and looked it up.
Urban Renewal is a constantly evolving collection from Urban
Outfitters made from vintage, deadstock and surplus materials. The result is
one-of-a-kind, amazing pieces that have the same fun Urban Outfitters vibe but
they’re eco-friendly to boot! Browsing their collection, I found unique
jewelry, jumpers, blouses and dresses in the affordable $20-$60 dollar range.
I’ve collected a few of my favorites in this collage and I hope you’ll consider
exploring Urban Renewal too!
The dress is Urban Renewal, the tights are from Kohl’s (they
have some cool texture not visible in the pictures), and the shoes are from
Ebay. The headband is my own organza flower creation that might be for sale in
my Etsy shop someday! This
whole outfit happens to be under $50!
