Pavement Princess: Brooklyn

BrooklynBridgeOutfit

My New York City trip was not without it's highlights, one of which was a lovely trek across the Brooklyn Bridge to meet my dear friend Amy from Every Little Counts half way! It was a romantic notion that suited both our sensibilities. It was really fabulous seeing Amy again after she emigrated (I'm kidding and being overly dramatic at the same time here) from Los Angeles to Brooklyn, we had a lot to catch up on!

Amy and I snapped akwardly by Erica!

We spent the day touring Brooklyn, mostly eating and shopping (my two favourite things). We had lunch and chocolate treats (mmm Jacques Torres) in DUMBO and then headed to Park Slope for some vintage shopping. I got to visit the infamous Beacon's Closet where I purchased a fab nautical inspired blouse and picked up a vintage shirt for Mr. Style from vintage boutique 'Odd Twin'.

We finished off the afternoon with Italian ice!

Stay tuned for more New York highlights! (see I told you I didn't hate the place!)
