A few months ago, during a whirlwind of travel, I ran up to Portland to support our client Looptworks on a shoot for NBC Nightly News.

It was a fun little production and a real chance to highlight the Made in the USA component of the LUV Seat Collection, as well as Looptworks work with Garten Services – a company that employs adults with disabilities. Their work force are responsible for deconstructing the airline seats and cleaning them before they become the fab bags.

I was there so briefly (a whopping two nights), but the woods (and my long distance BFF Dara) were calling my name, so before I jetted home, I voluntarily got up at 6am to hang out with them (the woods and Dara) and experienced a whole other side of Forest Park (see the first part here)
