I woke up this morning to an email entitled "McQueen Dead", in shock I didn't even bother clicking on the email, but instead 'rushed' to Twitter (everyone's source for current news) to have this devastating news confirmed.

Alexander McQueen was found dead this morning in his London home, apparently by his own hand. It is true that with creative genius comes a tortured soul far far too often. Which appears indeed to be the case here. I'm actually at a loss for words, but did not want this day to go by without offering our condolences, here at Dedicated, to his family and friends, for the loss of a great, great man, whose work we have featured time and time again (bittersweetly – in our  last post) 

He will be greatly missed.

The Guardian has a wonderful McQueen in pictures slideshow which can be found here, it really displays this mans unequivocal talent and I have to admit, I shed a few tears.
