The Portland Rose Test Garden might be one of my favorite places on earth. The juxtaposition of the ephemeral roses against the ancient evergreens. It’s symbolic. It’s magic. It smells incredible (if you want to smell it, buy this)

This past September I whiled away some hours amongst the flowers. Literally rolling around the grass and taking it all in.
