It's not often I see something on the interwebs and feel compelled to blog about it immediately, but it just happened. I stumbled across an image from Russian designer Ulyana Sergeenko's Fall Winter Collection (which incidentally is her debut collection) on Pinterest and just had to find out more.
She has to be one of the most inspiring and exciting designers I have come across in a long time. I just adore the 70's does 40's does Victoriana aesthetic combined with the modern play on volume and texture and further combined with the most perfect Autumnal palette.
There isn't a piece in this collection that I wouldn't kill for. That said, long time readers know my stance on fur – and whilst the pieces, I concede, are simply stunning I couldn't wear them (then again if I lived in Russia – a country that's actually cold enough for fur – I might give in) everything else is simply sublime.
You can see more of the collection here and follow her adventures on her Tumblr here.
I can't wait to see Spring!
