Spring in Oregon (and a little Washington)

Life got crazy in 2018, and rounding out my first year in Oregon seasonal blog posts, definitely got neglected. But Spring was magic, wet, mostly, but magic.

Here’s what I got up to in Oregon’s rainy season.

Florence and The Coast

The Sea Lion Caves near Florence, OR

Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival

We wanted to catch the Tulip festival while it was still the season, which resulted in an extremely wet and muddy day of fun shooting the colorful fields and colorful gimmicks.
On the way home we stopped by Mount Angel for a little German dinner, yum.

Spaceness on the WA Coast

Back in March Dara and I headed out to the Washington Coast for some interactive art at the Sou’wester Lodge. It was my first time on this part of the coast, I’ve been back quite a few times since.

Cape Disappointment

As I mentioned previously, this part of the coast became a fave spot, and we headed back a few weeks later to shoot some content for Deschutes. This is Cape Disappointment, a super secret cove that felt like something out of a Wes Anderson movie.
