Last Sunday, amidst the chaos of the life that blogging has awarded me, somewhere between the GRAMMY Style Studio and running off to Vegas to cover the tradeshows, all the while prepping for the Two Point Oh! LA Spring/Summer Lookbook and keeping up with New York Fashion Week…Dedicated Follower of Fashion turned two years old.
It's been a sensational ride and when I look back these short two years, I realise how much has happened in such a short time. I am so grateful for the blogging community, my readers and all my friends that I have made. The community is what makes this so very special and my friends are what keeps me going whilst I juggle project after project!
So here's to the next many years of blogging and wherever they will take me, in the meantime, let's take a trip down memory lane with my top ten (in terms of views) posts ever…..ENJOY!
10. Models in Bikini's….who knew?
Number 10 in my top ten countdown was an editorial we shot in 2009, yep a Dedicated Swimsuit Edition! And apparently you liked it! View the original post here.
9. Google likes Celebs.
I was surprised to see an outfit post in my top ten…but you know stuff a post full of celebrity names and you're bound to get some extra hits. Nonetheless, this was a cute outfit, worn to the Kari Feinstein Style Lounge for the MTV Movie Awards. See the full post here.
8. A Shopportunity.
Apparently you all enjoyed my TJ Maxx visit (I should take you shopping with me more often) as I navigated the store armed with a $50 gift card and came home with three whole outfits! Count 'em.
7. Getting my Glue Gun On.
I love doing DIY's, and you love 'em too according to the stats…. so yes, I'll try harder to do some more (especially now that I'm not in the accessories business…I can share some trade secrets) This Hair Wreath tutorial was your favourite, and still on trend, so check it out!
6. Oooh Controversial.
I don't shy away from a debate, and with the use of the words "Tribal" and "Ethnic" becoming more and more prevalent in the fashion industry, I took a stand of sorts and sparked a Twitter debate! My original thoughts can be read here.
5. What to Wear….to a Music Festival.
You know what? If I was going to Coachella tomorrow I'd still stand by this choice…and my other two. But it looks like lots of people are googling what to wear to a music festival, and naturally Dedicated has been here to provide…. check out the other two looks here.
4. One for the Boys.
For the first time ever, Mr Style and I, sat down and reviewed the mens collections in Paris, the results were good. It's the number four most viewed post on Dedicated, and the post is only 8 months old. Yes. I know, this means you want more menswear…working on it ;)
3. Tea for Two Million.
One of my favourite Dedicated editorials is one of yours too, coming in at number three was Two for Tea. This sumptuous explosion of florals, despite being almost two years old is utterly on trend! You can view the full editorial here.
2. Oh Milano, sei così bella per me.Ti amo.
Sometimes I feel like Milan is neglected in the chaos of all the worldwide fashion weeks, and yet it often has, by far, the best design. Perhaps it's the neglect of blogosphere that made this post my second most popular (with kudos to Sarah, Bria and Carly, who contributed) see what Milan had to offer this time last year (but be aware..the pictures are HUGE – I've got a lot more blog savvy since then!)
1. The One with the Woods.
It's somewhat fitting that the first ever editorial I shot for Dedicated is your favourite (it also probably has something to do with it being one of the oldest posts on the site….!) but it's nice to look back, all the way back to the beginning to see our fun shoot frolicking throughout Griffith Park. To see the full editorial click here.
So there you have it. Two years of Dedicated, which is like five years in fashion years. It would be completely remiss of me not to mention some of our fabulous contributors over the past few years, Sarah Corley our Junior Editor who left us last year to continue working on her own blog AND start an epic political career in Washington DC, Amy Snider and Sharon Gilligan who helped launch this blog right in the beginning and are still off doing wonderful things. Kate McCarthy, our amazing beauty expert (who needs to post here soon…hint hint) and Bria Berger and Carly Doogan our lovely contributors from last year.
Please stay around and enjoy the next few years with me, wontcha? (To make it really easy you can now get Dedicated straight to your inbox daily! Sign up here)
Love ya!

Awww, thanks Kelsi!!! I just saw this awesome post!!
It has been an absolute honor working with you on DFOF. I still send people over to check it out and certainly brag about the notoriety it has earned in the industry. I feel very fortunate having been a part of a fashion project that has done so well. :)
Oh, and I still keep up with you on twitter and love coming back to see all the fun things you’re doing! It’s really incredible. Good job!!
If you are ever in DC, let’s grab coffee or something and check out the loveliness that is Georgetown!!! :)
Stay awesome!!! <3
