What are you doing this Easter weekend? Are you going away, spending time with your family, or going for a picnic in the lovely spring weather?
For many, the Easter holidays is a religious time of year, but for myself, it has always been about getting together, doing things you probably would not do otherwise. My great aunt and uncle used to take me fruit picking when I was a child. We would visit the farm to see the new born lambs and foals. We would go to the beach and eat seaside sandwiches (egg, mayo and tomato on white bread…no crusts!), or we would go for picnics in fields. I have fond memories of the Easter holiday.
My Easter weekend is sadly going to be spent working. But for the lucky lot who have a long weekend ahead of them, here is my guide of what to wear, to look super fashionable, super cute and right on trend. These pieces will be fantastic if you're going away for a weekend and want to pack lightly, and with only the bare essentials that can be worn for day and night. It's also slowly creeping up to festival season here in the UK, so a lot of the pieces I pick out, will be fantastic for both occasions, so think of them as investment pieces, so you feel less guilty for buying even MORE clothes. I've also picked the pieces all from the same store, because we all know how annoying it is having to go from shop to shop when getting holiday essentials.
Easter is about new life, so inject new life in to your wardrobe. Easter is ditsy florals, sandals, socks, the seaside, the farm, hand knitted cardigans, cute buttons, lovely big bags, and vintage accessories.
