Ah orange. As a fashion colour it's one I've been trying to ignore for the best part of a year (love it as an interior colour though) – there's only certain shades I look good in (burnt orange, neon, coral, red/orange) and it's not a particularly forgiving colour on the wrong skintone. But it's seeped into the sartorial subconscious, warmed me up to it a little bit and now it's going all out by being the colour of the year.
Tangerine Tango is a fairly wearable shade of orange thanks to it's hints of red, and works very well with the Seventies trends that are still prevalent through Spring 2012. I can't say it's my favourite colour of the year, ever, last years Honeysuckle is still doing it for me…but it could be worse! Any predictions for 2013? I'd like a nice chartreuse bordering on neon, or deep navy or nice coral!
