Always a highlight of my London Fashion Week trips, this season’s Orla Kiely show was no exception. The presentation had three showing’s and I managed to run over and catch the last one. Naturally being the last one it was a touch crowded but I managed to catch a few photos (despite the folks blocking me incessantly USING iPADS FOR PHOTOS – these people make me mad evidently)
Last Spring we were on Safari with Orla Kiely, this time we were in the garden. L.A based artist, Alia Penner and her team painted flowers on to a perspex backdrop whilst the models “planted” the garden with giant foam flowers.
The palette was sugary and seventies – the prints twee and retro, as to be expected and the silhouettes were girly and fabulous. All together, another stellar collection from Orla Kiely and yet again, I want all of it.
