So that’s it. Snowball is over and done with for another year and I’m back to my regularly scheduled life of work, work and more work. Fortunately I adore working. So it’s all good. But looking forward to the holidays and a few well timed daycations with Mr Style – apple picking and the Christmas lights at the Mission Inn are all on the agenda – where do you like to daycation in Southern California? Inquiring minds…!

Anyway. This years Snowball was simply magical. As always I’m kicking things off with what I wore. Alongside my gay husband, Mr Cuit, who now works for BCBG Max Azria, I put together a Cinderella moment for myself and a handful of Two Point Oh! LA bloggers. We each visited the showroom to pick out our gowns (which will have it’s own post soon) and I ended up with this gorgeous ruffly number – I thought it was very Penelope Cruz, so I paired it with a fake tan (thanks Chocolate Sun) and Hollywood hair (thanks EDIA).

I also wore my oldest and most favourite shoes – that I haven’t worn since last years Snowball – my Stuart Weitzman rhinestone incrusted sandals…which you cannot actually see in the pictures but they did make sparkly cameos throughout the evening. The necklace was actually from Forever 21 – I had arranged to borrow a stunning one from Doloris Petunia – but in all the chaos of planning the darned event – I never went to pick it up! Le sigh.

Anyway, thanks BCBG Max Azria for my Cinderella/Penelope Cruz moment ;)
