Spring/Summer 2010 Trend Report: The St. Tropez Tourist

St Tropez

The gorgeous port city of St. Tropez inspires a nautical, chic style. A glamorous gem located in the South of France known for beauty and decadence, it makes sense that the city draws in wealthy guests from far and wide to spend a holiday in the area–primarily upon a yacht or exploring the shops within the city. St. Tropez tourists typically work the country club look with a nautical twist, resulting in something that looks very clean cut and expensive but effortless at the same time. You can work the St. Tropez look by grabbing anything that has nautical inspiration. Lightweight cardigans or pullovers, espadrille wedges, and double-breasted buttons all refer to the flavor of this city.

And just because many regular St. Tropez visitors look expensive, it does not mean it is impossible to sport this look for less:

1) Dolman Sleeve Cardigan – $19.90 – Forever 21; 2) Stowaway Necklace – $198 – Anthropologie; 3) Red Striped Cardigan – $59.50 – Land's End Canvas; 4) Sailor Dress by Annie Greenabelle – $112 – TOPSHOP; 5) High Waist Skinny Jeans – $47.99 – Mod Cloth; 6) Straw Floppy Hat – $162.39 – ASOS; 7) Octopus Bracelet – $27.50 – Cosmic Firefly; 8) T-Strap Espadrilles – $29 – Victoria's Secret; 9) Seaside Colors Eyeshadow Palette – $50 – Sephora; 10) Train-Hopping Bag – $69.99 – Mod Cloth
