Now let me preface this by letting you all know that I have never been to Florida, the perception that I have may be skewed by cliched images of sweaty, sunburnt tourists swarming to the tourist traps within Florida, so bear in mind that it is that exact cliche I am embracing here from a fashion perspective, minus the sweaty, sunburnt part.

The look here is colour and kitsch with a healthy dose of irony. It's a look that you can be extremely playful with. Fun colours and prints, neon, cycling shorts (yes I said cycling shorts) and bum bags (I believe you American's call them 'fanny packs' a phrase I refuse to embrace due to the UK meaning of fanny…) this trend even encourages the use of novelty headbands (from bunny ears to a proper Mickey Mouse) and novelty sunglasses… I'm dying for a pair of Lolita-esque heart shaped glasses!

So don your tourist tee, your cycling shorts, sunnies and the obligatory mouse ears and head to Disney World….let your inner child (or sweaty cliched tourist) shine!
