Really quick post as I have a full day of activities today (umm brekkie at Chateau Marmont followed by MTV Movie Awards gifting suite? yes, please and thank you…)
Yesterday I had the pleasure of spending the day getting pampered courtesy of the Fred Segal Salon. I went in for a cut and color and decided to explore the concept of "Ombre Hair" (I had a mini attempt when I went for pink hair back in February, remember?) I also had a haircut. My first hair cut since December 11th (the day of the Snowball) it feels soooo good!
I'm going to have a full video of the day coming shortly, but I was dying to share these pics as I'm so happy with my ombre'd locks (or Hampton Highlights, as I also heard them called today!) What do you think?
Also worth noting – this the first haircut I've had without bangs forever!
The bottom pic is a quick snapshot of the night before's DIY's. I bought a ton of druzy crystals on Ebay and turned them into rings using the same cocktail ring DIY I did here. I love the sparkly colourful goodness! The one on my index finger is an absolute rock! And the manicure was achieved using Essie's Sand Tropez, dipping my dried nails in alcohol (I used gin) and pressing newspaper clippings to them…!
What I'm Wearing: Skirt: Vintage, Sweater: Target, Necklaces: DIY'd (and yes you all wanted one so a tutorial is coming), Bracelets: BCBGeneration/DIY'd/Ebay, Watch: Vintage Timex, Sunglasses: Rayban, Rings: Ebay/DIY'd, Purse: Courtesy of Charlie Lapson.
